A lesson learnt..
..and an expensive one too. All happened during my driving practical lesson.. well the lesson learnt wasn't much of driving, but my stupid habit of being impatient, reckless and over confident. Sigh, yeah, tho I didn't really bang anyone down, but I just wasted $70 and 100 mins of my weekend. Always thought I had no problems with crank and S course, and slope. And I did have no problems until the stupid assessment itself when my instructor decided to grade me (before he can pass me and give me a stamp). I confidently went into the courses on 2nd gear (you're taught to use the 1st), zipped through the S course with ease, but I mounted the curb during the 2nd turn of the crank course. damn! Tho it shouldn't have happened, it did. And he failed me.
And then later, on the public road driving, it was my evaluation for a test route. No problems too until I went into the bus lane. Bah, forgot it was a Saturday morning. And thus, I failed. Didn't give me a stamp too. SIgh. In other words, I've gotta return to do the EXACT same things during my next lesson. Oh well, I'd better bear in mind to be more conscientious the next time round. =
After thursday's half day off, friday's mc (urgh!) and a weekend of pure boredom, it's back to camp. I hope I can get my stay out. The living conditions in camp now is really unbearable. Staff tsai's in Taiwan I think, so there's peace for a while. :) Jit's gonna be out next week, and hopefully we can all play badminton before my weekends begin to burn due to NDP.
