Playing while working on my accounting assignment..only to receive some hints that I should only be doing one. 

It's been a long while since I blogged. The past few weeks have been eventful and exciting, but unfortunately drained me of energy. Despite being used to late nights and short sleep over the years, I've yet to experience a period that fatiguing to say that "I'm dying". So do pardon me if I look sleepier or lack the enthusiasm in person for I would really like to hold the world in stasis while I catch up on my sleep.

2006 saw 3 distinct types of lifestyles.. from a soldier, to a good for nothing bummer, to a student. Two plesant trips abroad, the freedom on wheels, the collection of my pink IC, the passing on of my grandma, the 'revitalizing' experience of being a student again, the introduction to adulthood and the finding of a companion marked the significant events of the great year gone by.
2007 will be challenging, mainly due to the fact that it is inevitable of me to spend a good partof the year abroad. The day that I antipate yet dread draws closer and I can only hope I'll be strong enough by then.

Ushering a new year seems to be like renewing one's marriage vows. To sort through what has happen, pick up the good memories, learning from the bad memories, leaving the bygones and looking ahead into a brighter future, reminding oneself of what to achieve and expect. Thus, a slothful bugger lacking in willpower, like me, seldom gets his resolution achieved.

Anyhow, I shall gonna skip most of the cliched resolutions I've made but just add two new ones which I hope to accomplish like the year before. (2 seems reasonble)
- To quit smoking
- To do better and BETTER in my academics

It's almost 5 am now.. I really should start repaying my debts to the Sandman, and then hopefully to my conscience for the recent lack of commitment to my books. If there's a new year wish I could make, I would ask for more than 24 hrs a day. :(
