..and Christmas is over

Time really flies when one's enjoying himself. Guess what, it's the 31st already..the last day of 2005. What a year it has been.. in army. *phew* December just whizzed past like that, my holiday to Australia, Christmas, etc. This has been a quick week too. Monday being a holiday.. 1 day in camp doing duty on Tues, booking out to fail my driving test eventually on Wed, taking MC on Thurs, and a short return to camp on Fri.. and now I am on Saturday.

Right..driving, let's not talk about that. It pisses me off more than it disappoints me. There's no justice in this world, damn it. The SAF entrusts me with a vehicle, but the police can't? Arseholes, it wasn't as if I drove dangerously or couldn't drive at all. Blah, screw them to the furnace of hell.

According to my 'calculations', I should be able to start clearing leave on the 27th of March 2006! That's pretty quick.. but only if things goes smoothly, no Cresendo for example. I would really NOT want to return to Thailand again, regardless of what crap promises they're gonna make about our welfare.

And so 2005 comes to an end later today and not long from now I'll be writing my new yr's resolution again. I've gotta backtracked to January this year. I don't think I completed any of my previous resolutions. lol. what a prick I am.

Shall end my last post for this year with a big "SCREW YOU" to any government organization.. thanks for the utter crap your employees are giving to everyone else just because they think they've the authority to. It's our bloody income tax you guys are taking home with you! So fuggin hell, be nice!

Back from Aussie!

Phew, back from Aussie. What a trip it has been. Will be posting some pictures soon.

Could have been a much more enjoyable trip had I went with the right company. An over-anxious aunty that is the epitome of 'kiasuism' and a father who seems to be putting up a show half of the time aren't really people you want to go on a holiday with. Yes.. I had my fun and sightseeing, but half the time I'm getting ticked off by their behavior
. Adult acting like kids! goodness. Forget it, I shadn't elaborate on it.. it'll never end. But I'm still fking pissed about him constantly bringing out issues on furthering my tertiary education in Melbourne each bloody time he sees and asian student.

Suprisingly, the most enjoyable times I had during the trip was the times I was alone. I could do whatever I liked whenever I want, eat anything I craved and not have to bother about whom should I give in to. It isn't the case that I like to be alone, but in such situation, myself would be the best company. If only I'd a friend or two along with me and this trip would have been splendid.
Better yet, maybe by the next time I go on vacation, I could get my girlfriend to go along with me.. there're so many occasions that I'd needed someone dear to share with. *sigh*

In any case, I will need someone to help me take decent photos too.. my parents just can't make the cut, a tripod would have taken better photos than them. Besides, half of the time they didn't seem too interested in anything except chinese food and the casino at Crown. Makes me wonder why the hell would they spend a few thousand to go overseas then... a 5 km journey to Downtown East could have well satisfy them.

Well, next to head to Melbourne would be Yh.. to study of course. I hope he could get used to the environment there. Probably he'll find a caucasian girl too. (The striptease bargirls just seem to dig any asian boy anyway) I wonder if I could see myself joining him. Not next yr definately.. but maybe in the near future to do my masters, or continue my 2nd year in Monash. The options are plentiful, RMIT which is somewhat affiliated to SIM has a campus in Melbourne city too. Ah.. time would only tell.

Meanwhile it's only 5 days to Christmas! I wonder what I would be doing on Xmas eve. No romance this year again it seems.

Life in camp is now more boring and meaningless

Going off to Australia next monday.. finally a holiday since sec 3! Lol. I'm keen, but not overly excited for the trip tho. It seems as if I'd prefer the company of my friends back here than going for a overseas trip with my parents. -shrug- In any case, it's a good break away from camp..which has become a more meaningless place to be in now that Cresendo is over. Everyday it's just rotting from the moment we wake up till office hours is over.. 8 to 5.. monday to friday.. week in week out till ORD. Not to forget the damn duties in between.

Speaking of which, duties this month COULD have been worse. I finally escaped with a Saturday duty this weekend and one more on the 27th. Free on Xmas and New Yr Day! Woots. Too much gaming this weekend..to the extent that I've burnt out of World of Warcraft. I think its about time to find a girlfriend.. hehe, something more tangible at least, and not just a few lines written in binary. =\
