Holiday's over..

Back from Japan for a couple of days now.. and school begins tomorrow. Some three weeks it has been. Though it was short, it was probably one of the better holidays I have had (discounting the unplesant moments during the Japan trip), for I had almost absolute freedom in doing what I wanted plus the convenience of a car.

Now that the holidays are over, I hope it wouldn't take me too long to get serious again. Another 4 new modules this trimester and hopefully by the end of it, I'll be en route to a desired course in Melbourne. I'll lose a couple of my closer classmates (Phil and Rongzhong, I believe) as they've chose another path to pursue their studies, and I do wish them all the best. It's sad to see friends, or should I say acquaintances, come and go - just like my army pals whom I have not contacted since the ORD dinner. I suppose it's inevitable, thus I'm thankful for each passing day that I still have my buddies around me.

And to the 3 girls in class that I tend to mingle with, the difference in our timetables kinda saddens me (although I hate to admit it), for we'll probably hang out less often this sem. May we make the best of the following 12 weeks and be able to continue our tertiary education with our preferred courses.

Apologies for this melancholic post as it's the Cancerian in me that's always looking back instead of ahead.
