may!
ok, so the month of april ended in a way I didn't expect.. only went to camp for 2 days thanks to 2 days of MCs. In fact, I only slept in camp 1 night, thanks to the crazy bowel problem I had. Better now tho. Hrrrm. After all that, I feel a little in a 'holiday' mood and am quite reluctant to go back. *sigh* Oh well, many things still to be expected during this 1st week of May.. Duty forecast etc. CO parade/stand by bed on wednesday too. I hope everything goes fine.
Went to the carnival @ the esplanade yesterday. Nothing really much to see tho, since I'm not really a fan of the Singapore Idol =\ Was disappointed @ not being able to go for the boat ride as it was sooooooo crowded. Would have cost a sum on any other day. Anyway, the food giveaway was a crazy experience. KFC and McDonald's were perpetually giving away free food. Even to those w/out coupons. People just take the food over and over again. Ugly Singaporeans. Saw a malay family getting their children to make food runs. They had almost 20+ packets and still collecting. Omg. Was so like playing the game of Cricket where the player made runs to score points, except it was a case of collecting food here. Gluttony, one of the seven deadly sins. I hope they choke on the chicken. >.< Another family even had a car to pick up a carton, yes a CARTON of food. Required 3 ppl to lift it into the car boot too. I mean, how much can you eat? Just because it's free, there really isn't a need to take THAT much. Ok, I admit I took 2 boxes of food, JIt and Quek took another 18.. and I felt bad already. =x Then again, perhaps we were helping them as those food had to be cleared that night. FYI, 1 box of KFC = 2 piece chickens, 1 small whipped potato, bread while 1 box of McDonald's = 1 fillet/mcchicken, 4 pieces nuggets, 1 hashbrown. Oh so much fast food this week.. how am I gonna pass IPPT? :( Unhealthy me.
Bought a game on impulse today after badminton session. Half Life 2. Cost me $60 =\ I really need to control myself.. after all, I ain't working. No spending power. Much things to save for this month too. Like some costly lunch? -shrug- Oh, I think I irritated someone by pestering her to go out too often. Kinda selfish on my part, sorry. :(
