gawd, another lesson
...and this time it concerns CDC again. damn it.
booked at 1850, went at 2040. I thought I booked the LAST slot. God damn it, careless, can't be bothered to check. Whatever. I wasted $70, wasted 1 week of booking, wasted my parents time. Sigh. Fk. What the hell is happening to me? Something stupid/bad happens each week. Maybe I haven't been going to church for too long. =
My parents are flying off to China this Thursday (I think) and coming home on Sunday. Kinda sad.. will be alone for the weekend. The weekend which I am involved for the 1st combined rehearsal, plus the very weekend that we are viable for recall manning (flashing green man on tv, NSboys gotta go bacK? yeah..) I hope they enjoy their trip, and may there be some bonding to strengthen their marriage. =\ I wish I could go overseas too. Got 6.5 days of leave to clear for this year. Might just arrange a short holiday in Nov/Dec. :D But that's still far, lotsa impending things to do atm.
Exactly 1 yr ago, I was posted to 30SCE. Man, saddest time in my life. It was a moment which I thought couldn't be real. Always hope I would wake up back at home, on my comfy bed, knowin that Jurong camp and its stupid madness was a mere nightmare. :\ But here I am, 365 (+/- 1) days later, still in the same darn unit. Time flies? Nah, Been thru quite a bit of NS crap since then. oh well. A slow crawl to ORD from here. I wonder if I can post again 365 days from now, describing the ORD life I'll be enjoying. Hopefully I'll write that entry overseas, in England..or somewhere in Europe :)
Got to meet Kt and Yieng again yesterday. Tho it wasn't really an outing, nor a coincidental 'meeting', I'm happy to see em. Probably won't have much of a chance to go out for the next couple of months. Since I've to be at Padang during weekends. Screw NDP. lol, I guess for this yr, I'll really get sick of the parade. Driving lessons are gonna be put on hold again. hai, Guess the earliest I can take my test would be late August/ early sept.
