1st time taking off
Took a half day off today.. but only did I leave office at 1:30. Felt as if I was cheated off 1hr 30 mins. Oh well. Didn't do much actually, shd have saved the half day. Lotsa work to do in camp.. I was somehow drafted into the access pass team.. and at the same time wanted by a captain to help him in NE show. *shrug* Dont mind doing more work actually, only makes me feel more appreciated in camp.
Silly me volunteered to be part of the ammo party for tomorrow's range. Gonna be a boring day loading magazines for the firer. And I can't find any interesting books to bring! Bah. Going to go out field too again on Friday.. back to Tekong! Heh. Kinda feel 'good' to be part of the only 14 ppl in the whole battalion who can fire a machine gun. Can go act sey in front of recruits. hurhur. Exactly 1 yr back I had my BIC back at that site too. Fast? Nah. Slow? Perhaps.
Nonetheless, I hope this weekend comes soon. So far so good..I think.
Lots to do this weekend. Hopefully I can get a last minute booking for my driving on Saturday morning. Maybe a last minute booking at Changi Beach club for badminton with the guys... or doing something with my parents in the afteroon as they are flying off to Japan on Sunday, for a week. Then spending the night at Jit's house, with a screening of Star Wars Episode 1 and 2 (Courtesy of Yuan Hwa) and mahjong session! Heh, that's provided he's able to swap his duties with someone.
Come Sunday.. Star Wars Episode 3!! Wooo. Have been waiting so long. Had no idea when I become such an avid Star Wars fan anyway. Maybe hang around Orchard after that too. Or send my Dad off. EIther way, lots of money will be spent. :( DAoC/Half Life session at night with the guys. And on Monday, hopefully those 2 girls will be free. Tho my badminton still sucks.. I hope I can win in a little sparring session. Heh. Booked 9 to 11 liao hor, Yi Eng. :) You will make it!
Sigh, then book in the very same day. Oh well, least there's still something to look forward to before another 3 months of 'no public holiday and NDP madness'. Is it even possible to psycho oneself that this monotonous routine shit week after week will end one day? The thought of duties of next month.. and the month after.. etc etc. Plus whatever last minute crap the army can deliver to me is already driving me nuts! pft.
